Wentzville First Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
Come Join us for a weekend celebration of Irish Culture and Music.
Event Starts on Saturday, March 11, 2017 and concludes Sunday, March 12, 2017
Here is a quick overview of what is happening.
Saturday, March 11th
Five K Run – 8:00 AM – “The Guinness Challenge”
This 5K run will be sponsored by Guinness and includes a tasty pint of Guinness half way through the run. Of course, this is entirely optional. This will be an official sanctioned event ran by Fleet Feet. For early registrations you will be guaranteed and shirt and the size you indicate. You will also receive a medal and beer ticket good for one pint after the race. Since we must send off to have the shirts printed, registrations after Jan 31st, will guarantee a t-shirt but the sized will be first come, first served. After March 1st, no shirts will be available unless we have cancellations.
- $30 for early bird through January 31st – Guaranteed tshirt + size
- $35 February 1st – March 1 – Guaranteed shirt, no guaranteed size.
- $40 late registration after March 1st – no guaranteed tshirt, participation medal or beer ticket

T-shirt pick up at Friendship Brewing Company, 100 E. Pitman Ave., Wentzville MO — March 8-9th, 4pm-9pm
The Leprechaun Leap 1 Mile Fun Run – 8:30 AM – In addition to the 5K run, we will also have a 1 mile mini challenge for the little tykes and those just wanting to walk and have fun. The details are as follows:
- 1 Mile Adult – $15.00 if registered by March 1st. $20.00 after.
- 1 Mile 12 and under – $10.00 flat fee. No early bird.

St. Patricks Day Celebration Parade – 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – This parade is open to all businesses, Political candidates, family clans and community organizations or non-profits that want to participate. There is a small fee for those entering the parade – The fee is as follows:
Family/Clans Entries – $25.00
Commercial Entries – $100.00
Political Entries – $200.00
Schools, Community Organizations and Non Profits – Free

St. Patrick’s Day Festival – 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM – The Wentzville Downtown Business Association, St. Charles Sister Cities and the City of Wentzville will host a two day, open air festival including street vendors, food trucks, beer sales, live music and much more. Check out our band lineup under “Entertainment.”
Sunday, March 12th
